PROSTREET SUPERBEE PHASE 3
FINALLY THE WORK HAS STARTED AGAIN!!!

For those who have been following the progression of my Superbee.  I had some difficulties with the chassis shop owner, he was willing to take my money but didn't want to do any work.  I gave him several opportunities to make things right but nothing changed.  I then contacted a friend of mine whom I should have spoken to originally and he referred me to COMP CHASSIS.  I went down to his shop and looked at some of his work in progress.  There were some beautiful Hot rods that he was working on.  Some were needing full tubular chassis and some were in for minor repairs.  After discussing my needs and checking on several references I then had my car sent to his shop for completion.  Richard who is the owner of the chassis shop has been immensely valuable in the process of building this car.  Without his knowledge and advice I would be lost being that this is my first prostreet car and not just a simple restoration.

I decided to forgo with drag racing and build the car for the street.  This would involve a lot more work and a lot more money.  This would involve having a total rethinking on what to do with the interior.  I also had to rethink the engine transmission combination.  After consulting Richard the owner of Comp Chassis I decided to go all out and have a full blown 426 Hemi built for the car.  I also had a very bad experience with Arlen Venki.  I'll post a full page on him.  He's a real piece of work needless to say.

In this photo the frame rails had to be moved in a inch on each side to accommodate the 16in tires, just one minor error amongst others from the previous shop.  The ladder bar brackets are attached and ready to go and the rear end is fitted.

PRO STREET LATTER BARS

I decided to go with latter bars instead of four link, because I won't be racing.  There are also to many combinations when setting up a four link when I do decide to have it taken to the track.  I have to see what it will do once it is finished.  There's nothing that bugs me more than someone who builds a prostreet car with out taking it down the track at least once to see what it will do.  But that's just my two cents!
