The motor is in its final stages. All the aluminum parts have been polished and it should be ready to be picked up in a week.
The heads have been ported and polished.
The cylinders are getting the final honning.
The aluminum timing chain cover has been polished also.
The fire wall is just about complete and the tubs are ready for installation. The floor pans are being fitted and then the dashboard is next. The body will be going to the paint shop soon. I am going to stay with the color yellow but I want a brighter yellow. The banana yellow has to much white in it. You can really notice it in some of the earlier pictures. Next there will be a final fitting of all the suspension and other parts on the car. Then it will be disassembled and the miscellaneous parts will be sent off to be powder coated or painted. We are hoping to have the car done in about two months. That's if we don't run into any unforeseen problems which are inevitable in any project like this.
